Dealer's description

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. Ford's Mustang absolutely owned the 1960's. After the stunning first model year sales of over 680K units the Mustang continued to sell well, earning its prominent place in American car culture. After all, every boomer I know has an old Mustang anecdote. And while Ford is still selling Mustangs some 61 years later, the clean, understated styling of the 1960's cars is more appealing than ever. This cheerful Meadowlark Yellow (W) 1968 Ford Mustang Convertible is a fine example of these beloved thoroughbreds and it illustrates beautifully the long hood/short deck proportions that spawned an entire market segment. Pop open the vented hood and you'll see the legendary 289 V8, a version of which won the 1965 FIA International Manufacturers Championship for Touring Cars. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, power top with glass backlight, air conditioning, automatic transmission, correct paint and trim codes (W, 2A), 2.79 rear end, dual exhaust with H-pipe, a Sanyo AM/FM/CD audio system, and fresh, classic dual red stripe tires ( 205/70R14) wrapped around steel wheels with correct Deluxe wheel covers. The new cloth top looks better than new and fits neatly beneath its boot. With Spring right around the corner I can't imagine a better tanning machine. One more pretty pony from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Ray-Bans and sunscreen not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
