Dealer's description

Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 27th year in the classic and muscle car business. This one is special. This exquisite 1957 Corvette was once the centerpiece of legendary collector Dr. Jack Frost's collection. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he was known for owning stunners like the 1969 L88 roadster he bought new, and then kept! This NCRS Top Flight Award winner (95.1 points!) was acquired by Dr. Frost from the original owner on March 13, 1966 and driven approximately 1000 miles over the next 23 years. When purchased by the doctor's son in 1989 he stated that after servicing the car for a day, he drove it 400 miles to Indianapolis from Iowa! Lift the hood of this top-shelf investment grade classic and you'll see the #'s matching (EC F724EH, BCN 3731548) dual 4bbl 283 V8 belting out an impressive-for-1957 245 hp. Additional features include the extremely desirable and #,s matching (CD 4/27/57, AD WF1972) Borg-Warner T10 4-speed manual transmission (fewer 4-speeds than fuel injection in '57!), the #'s matching 3.70 rear end (CN 3725899, CD D257, AC AH5 10), original hardtop with date-coded "Plexiglas", "Wonderbar" AM radio, and 205/75R15 Coker wide whitewall radial tires on correct wheels with correct covers. Documentation includes original owner's manual, service manual, a very early advertising brochure, NCRS judging sheets and certificate, and a complete history of ownership. Said documentation supports our belief that this car has fewer that 22,000 actual miles. This gorgeous and pivotal piece of automotive history was the first world-class performance Corvette and will stand out in any collection. One more killer Corvette from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for 'Vettes and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
