HIGHLIGHTS: EXQUISITE RESTORED CONDITION JUST RELEASED FROM A WORLD-CLASS COLLECTION A HIGH-WATER MARK OF AMERICAN MUSCLE CARS AN AUTHENTIC GTO JUDGE PRESENTED IN STRIKING ATOLL BLUE, COMPLEMENTED BY VIBRANT CONTRASTING GRAPHICS ONE OF ONLY 3,629 PRODUCED INCLUDES COPY OF ITS BUILD SHEET FROM PONTIAC HISTORICAL SERVICES DESIRABLY EQUIPPED WITH A FOUR-SPEED MANUAL RECENT SERVICE DRIVES AND PERFORMS AS NEW TREMENDOUS INVESTMENT POTENTIAL A COLLECTOR'S DREAM FEATURES INCLUDE: 400CI V8 FOUR-SPEED MANUAL 'SAFE-T-TRACK' LIMITED-SLIP DIFFERENTIAL FRONT & REAR STABILIZER BARS FRONT & REAR SPOILERS JUDGE GRAPHICS PACKAGE POWER STEERING POWER BRAKES AM RADIO 8-TRACK PLAYER When the second generation GTO was introduced in 1968, Pontiac largely made incremental updates to the car. A shorter body and more streamlined styling set the new car visually apart from its predecessor, though mechanically much remained similar to the 1967 offerings outside of an increase in the car's power rating (up to 350hp). However, by the end of 1968 and for 1969, Pontiac brought a new series of Ram Air equipped motors, with increased power ratings and additional torque, the Ram Air III being rated at 365hp with nearly 450lb-ft. of torque. More notably, 1969 brought a new model, The Judge. Featuring a Ram Air III V8 as standard, Rally II wheels, a Hurst shifter, wider tires, and a rear spoiler, the new car created an effective marketing platform to further the GTO's reach. The car's special contrasting graphics certainly helped it stand out on public roads and showroom floors, too. For the 1970 model year, new styling and additional luxury options were offered, and a new 455ci V8 was offered (though not available on The Judge). Unfortunately, the golden era of the muscle car was coming to a close, with insurance companies, increasing fuel prices, and ever more stringent emissions requirements limiting consumer interest. The stunning 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Hardtop Coupe featured here is finished in rare and highly desirable Atoll Blue over a matching Blue interior. This investment-grade GTO has been beautifully restored and was recently released from a world-class collection - it is now ready for its next caretaker. We are proud to offer this stunning example of one the most sought after muscle cars at an investment price to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this iconic motorcar!
