How much does the 2023 Kia Sorento cost?

Prices have softened 6.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,480 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Kia Sorento a good car?

With a user rating of 3.7/5, the 2023 Kia Sorento looks like a practical choice if you want a midsize SUV with family-friendly space and a wide range of powertrain choices. The Sorento’s three-row layout, room for adults, and more upscale cabin materials make it appealing if you want versatility without moving up to a larger SUV. Its broad lineup also gives you flexibility if you want a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or X-Line version with added capability. 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Kia Sorento reliable?

The 2023 Kia Sorento is presented as a well-equipped midsize SUV with a strong safety and convenience foundation, including collision warning, lane-keep assist, and rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist. For 2023, the base LX model also gained a blind-spot monitor and rear automatic braking, which adds to its everyday confidence. The cabin and feature set suggest a vehicle built to serve families well, especially if you value space and a broad equipment spread. For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is most manageable when you verify maintenance history and focus on condition, since higher-trim complexity can add repair exposure over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Sorento?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Pay extra attention to the condition of the interior, electronics, and any advanced driver-assistance features, since those are part of the Sorento’s appeal. If you’re considering a higher-trim example, make sure every feature works as intended before you commit.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Sorento?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without waiting forever for a deal.

• Deal availability: 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,480 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.23% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,670, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Sorento's resale value?

The current average of $26,670 sits slightly below last year's $28,442.

That price movement suggests the Sorento has softened enough to help you buy more efficiently today. If you plan to sell later, the current market gives you a useful benchmark for setting expectations, but it also means you should not assume the model will hold its value as strongly as it did a year ago. A well-kept example with desirable equipment and clean history should still be easier to move than one with visible wear or a questionable record.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Sorento or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.23% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $23,059, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,670 average.
• It adds hybrid and plug-in hybrid efficiency options.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $28,929, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $26,670 average.
• It brings fresher styling and easier-to-use tech.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around pick if you want a balanced mix of price, inventory, and features. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer updates and can stretch your budget.
