In contrast, the 2023 Lincoln Aviator presented a more modern and luxurious appearance. The Aviator's design was highlighted by its successful execution of the modern Lincoln face, although the wheel designs on the Black Label Grand Touring model were considered plain. The Aviator's interior was lavish, featuring patterned metal trim, gloss black surfaces, and chrome accents. The Black Label Flight theme added a rich caramel hue to the perforated leather seats, creating a visually striking cabin. However, some elements, like the chrome detailing on the switchgear, felt less premium. The Aviator's key fob was also criticized for its lightweight and plasticky feel, though the Phone As A Key digital key technology offered a modern alternative.
