All of those nameplates have added hybrid variants recently, so Kia followed suit as part of a 2023-model-year redesign. The 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid will be offered alongside non-hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions of the new Sportage, which represents the nameplate’s fifth generation. The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 presented a more understated appearance compared to its flashier competitors like the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator. Mercedes confidently avoided an ostentatious grille, unlike the BMW X7 or Lexus LX. However, other GLS models offered more visual flair, such as the AMG GLS 63 with its aggressive styling and the Maybach version with extensive chrome detailing.
