What’s New for the 2027 Audi SQ7
The Audi SQ7 is new from the ground up for the 2027 model year, as it enters its third generation. As before, it’s a sportier version of the latest Audi Q7. As well as a bolder look inside and out, the latest SQ7 gets new technology, greater luxury, upgraded power, advanced headlights, and new driver-assistance technologies.
Design
Audi’s new SQ7 has a taller hood, smoother sides, and more pronounced wheel haunches than the last model, and comes off as sportier. The nose features thin LED light signatures up top, and matrix LED headlights in the pockets below. A new frameless take on Audi’s singleframe grille moves the four rings higher. The rear pillar is more upright, and the rear end features OLED taillights connected by a light bar. It looks planted on its standard 22-inch wheels, although 23-inch wheels are available for an even more striking look. Speaking of striking, a Black Optic package comes with dark chrome exhaust tips, anthracite Audi rings, and black wheel center caps, grille mesh, exterior trim, roof rails, and exterior mirror housings.
Powertrain
Audi fits its latest twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 under the hood of the SQ7 for 2027. It now makes 591 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, up from 500 hp and 568 lb-ft, for a 3.7-second 0–60 mph time. The engine is still backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with Audi's quattro all-wheel drive system, along with an electronic limited-slip rear differential. EPA fuel economy ratings are not yet available, but the previous SQ7 was EPA rated at 14 mpg city, 20 mpg highway, 16 mpg combined. The new SQ7 can tow up to 7,700 pounds.

Interior
The Audi SQ7 comes standard with seven-passenger seating across three rows. Available second-row captain’s chairs reduce capacity to six while making second-row riders more comfortable. Nappa leather upholstery is standard, with leather also found on the dash and doors. Every seat is power-adjustable, and the front and outboard second-row seats are heated. The front seats are also ventilated and come with massagers. Also standard are a power-adjustable steering column, stainless-steel pedals, three-zone automatic climate control, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Heated third-row seats, four-zone automatic climate control, and variable light control for the sunroof are optional. Cargo space has improved, and the SQ7 has 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, 43.9 cubic feet behind the second row, and 78.1 with the rear two rows folded flat. The second row can fold in a 65/35 or 35/30/35 split. The third row is power-folding, and a hands-free power liftgate comes standard.
Technology
The SQ7 gets the latest-generation Audi connected technology. It includes an 11.9-inch digital gauge cluster Audi calls the Digital Cockpit+, a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a standard 12.3-inch front passenger touchscreen. The infotainment system has an AI assistant. Also standard are navigation, a dashcam, dual wireless smartphone charging pads, a three-month satellite radio trial, and a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system. A 22-speaker Bang & Olufsen system and a head-up display are optional. Full specifications are yet to be confirmed, but buyers can expect wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard.
