The Toyota Crown Signia was a completely new model when introduced in 2025 and sits in the premium midsize crossover SUV segment. Primary competitors include the Lexus NX, Acura RDX, and Mazda CX-50. The 2026 Toyota Crown Signia has just two trims: XLE and Limited.

What’s New for the 2026 Toyota Crown Signia
Now in its second model year, the 2026 Toyota Crown Signia is essentially a carryover model. The only change for this model year is a new two-tone exterior paint option for the Limited, pairing a black roof with all current paint options (except black): Storm Cloud, Oxygen White, Finish Line Red, and Bronze Age. This is a $500 option in addition to any extra cost for premium paint colors.
Design
With its premium focus, the 2026 Crown Signia draws cues from its luxury Lexus siblings, featuring a body-color woven grille. While Toyota calls this an SUV, it has more wagonlike proportions. Standard wheels on the XLE are 19-inch two-tone alloys, and the Limited trim gets 21-inch dark gray metallic alloy wheels. Other than the two-tone paint option on the Limited, no appearance packages are available.
Powertrain
The 2026 Toyota Crown Signia comes standard with all-wheel drive (AWD) and offers a single hybrid powertrain: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with three electric motors. The total system output is 240 horsepower, and it achieves EPA-estimated 39 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. Even though this is a petite midsize crossover SUV, Toyota says it can tow up to 2,700 pounds.

Interior
The interior of the 2026 Crown Signia is both modern and clean, blending a large infotainment screen with buttons and dials for the most-used controls, such as volume and climate. Leather seats are standard and are offered in black and saddle brown. The XLE does not offer a sunroof, but the Limited trim comes standard with a fixed panoramic glass roof with a power sunshade. The Crown Signia seats five passengers, and cargo capacity behind the first and second rows rings in at 68.8 and 25.8 cubic feet, respectively, without the panoramic roof, but 24.8 and 66.1 cubic feet with the panoramic roof.
Technology
As a premium vehicle, the 2026 Crown Signia comes standard with advanced technologies, including a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Other standard tech features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, five USB-C charging ports, dual-zone climate controls, a wireless phone charger, a hands-free power liftgate, and acoustic noise-reducing glass on the windshield and front side windows. The Limited trim adds rain-sensing wipers, the ability to use your phone as a key, a digital rearview mirror, and an 11-speaker premium JBL audio system. The Limited trim offers an available Advanced Tech Package, which includes the panoramic view monitor, lane-change assist, traffic-jam assist, and front cross-traffic alert, as well as front- and rear-park assist with automatic braking. Toyota also offers subscription-based connected services on both trims, including remote start, cloud navigation, the “Hey, Toyota” digital assistant, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
