The 2026 Ford F-350 is currently in its fifth generation and was last redesigned for the 2023 model year. It sits in the heavy-duty truck segment, between the F-250 and the F-450 in the Ford Super Duty lineup. Primary competitors include the Chevrolet Silverado 3500, the GMC Sierra 3500, and the Ram 3500. For this model year, the F-350 offers five trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum.

What’s New for the 2026 Ford F-350 Super Duty
There haven’t been any significant changes to the Ford F-350 since the current generation's launch in 2023 so, while there are no big changes for 2026, there are some notable updates. First, the Tremor Off-Road Package is now available with the standard-output diesel engine. Next, the Lariat Premium Package bundles more features for simplicity and cost savings. And finally, there are two new colors: Argon Blue Metallic and Marsh Gray Metallic.
Design
The 2026 F-350 bears a strong resemblance to its smaller siblings, the F-150 and the F-250. That includes the trim-specific grille treatments and signature C-clamp headlight designs. Standard wheels are 17 inches, but 18- and 20-inch wheels are available, depending on the trim. The F-350 is available in Regular Cab and SuperCab configurations, but only in XL and XLT trims. Otherwise, the primary configuration is the Crew Cab. There are also two bed lengths: 6-¾ feet and 8 feet, and the Regular Cab can only be paired with the 8-foot bed. There are also a few notable appearance packages; the STX Appearance Package is available with the XL and includes body-colored front and rear bumpers, an LED center high-mounted stop lamp, LED fog lamps, a painted grille, unique wheels, and STX badging. The Black Appearance Package is available on XLT and Lariat trims and includes running boards, unique wheels, black exterior accents, and a spray-in bedliner. The Platinum Plus Package includes chrome grille inserts, additional chrome exterior accents, and 20-inch high-gloss-painted aluminum wheels. There is no dedicated off-road trim for the F-350, but there are a couple of off-road packages, including the FX4 Off-Road Package (available on all trims) and the Tremor Off-Road Package (available on XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum). Unlike the F-250, the F-350 offers a dual rear-wheel (DRW) option on all trims, but only with the Regular and Crew Cab configurations with the 8-foot bed.
Powertrain
The 2026 Ford F-350 offers four engine options: a 405-horsepower 6.8-liter V8, a 430-hp 7.3-liter V8, a 475-hp 6.7-liter turbocharged V8 diesel, and a high-output 500-hp 6.7-liter turbocharged V8 diesel. All engines are mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The base engine is available only with the XL, XLT, and Lariat, while all other engines are available across all trims. The F-350 comes standard with rear-wheel drive (RWD, also known as 4X2) with all trims except the top two, which are standard with four-wheel drive (4WD). 4WD is available on all trims. Because the F-350 is a heavy-duty truck, it is exempt from official EPA fuel economy ratings. However, customers report 15 to 22 mpg on the highway with the diesel engine, and those with the 7.3-liter V8 report 10 to 14 mpg. To achieve the maximum tow rating of 38,000 pounds, the F-350 with the diesel engine must be configured as a Regular Cab with the DRW option.

Interior
The 2026 F-350 comes with seating for three to six passengers, depending on the cab and the seating configuration. The two-door Regular Cab models will seat three with a front bench seat. The SuperCab and Crew Cab configurations will seat up to six passengers with the front bench seat, but the passenger count drops to five if the truck is equipped with front bucket seats. On the base XL, vinyl seating surfaces are standard and cloth seats are available for $100. However, proving that the Super Duty trucks in the Ford lineup are more than just work trucks these days, the top trims come with leather seats, and leatherette seating surfaces are available on mid-grade models. A power moonroof is available with Crew Cab models starting from the XLT trim. In lieu of a trunk, the F-350 offers many interior cargo storage options, including a large center console and lockable under-seat storage on models equipped with a rear seat.
Technology
Even though the base XL trim of the 2026 F-350 is more of a work truck, it still includes a lot of standard tech features, including an 8-inch infotainment screen, Ford's Sync 4 operating system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a subscription-based 5G Wi-Fi hotspot that connects up to 10 devices. The base audio system is a four-speaker AM/FM stereo, but two Bang & Olufsen sound systems are available on higher trims. Other available features include a 12-inch infotainment screen, connected navigation, a head-up display, remote start, wireless phone charging, power-adjustable pedals, and dual-zone automatic climate controls. The really cool available tech, however, includes Onboard Scales, a Pro Trailer Hitch Assist, Pro Power Onboard, and a Tailgate Down Camera.
