What’s New for the 2023 Lexus NX

The Lexus NX was completely redesigned in 2022, so the changes for the 2023 model year are minimal.

Design

The 2023 NX comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels. Upgraded models feature 20-inch alloy wheels. The available F Sport trim also includes some unique, sporty design elements.

Powertrain

The 2023 Lexus NX 250 is powered by a 203-horsepower four-cylinder engine. The NX 350 is powered by a 275-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine. An eight-speed automatic transmission routes power to the front wheels or available all-wheel drive (AWD). The NX 350 comes standard with AWD, and the NX 350 F Sport adds an adaptive suspension system.

The FWD NX 250 returns fuel economy of 26 mpg city, 33 highway, and 28 combined. The NX 250 AWD returns 25 city, 32 highway, and 28 combined. The NX 350 AWD returns 22 mpg city, 29 highway, and 25 combined.

Interior

Standard features on the Lexus NX include a push-button start, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, and automatic climate control. An available Premium Package ($3,050) adds features such as a power sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, and driver’s seat memory settings.

If you’re looking for a more upscale experience, the Luxury Package ($6,150) adds power-adjustable front seats, leather seating surfaces, a larger infotainment screen, and a head-up display. The available F Sport trim adds more heavily bolstered front seats. It also adds a boost gauge and G-force meter to the instrument panel.

The NX has up to 46.9 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear bench folded. With the rear seats in use, the NX has 22.7 cubic feet of rear cargo space. It comes standard with a manual lift gate and is also available with a hands-free smart power lift gate.

Technology

The standard infotainment system is a 9.8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with a fully digital instrument panel, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and two USB ports. There’s also an available 14-inch touchscreen, wireless device charging, and a 14-speaker premium stereo system.

Safety

Standard driver-assistance features on the NX include forward collision warning, pedestrian detection, traffic-sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Available safety tech includes a 360-degree parking camera system, front and rear parking sensors, and a head-up display.

Pricing

At the time of this writing, the 2023 Lexus NX has a base MSRP of $39,775 for the NX 250. The NX 250 AWD starts at $41,355, and the NX 350 AWD starts at $43,515.
