2023 Land Rover Range Rover Reviews, Pricing & Specs

Overview
The 2023 model year sees a fully redesigned fifth-generation Land Rover Range Rover hitting the US market.
The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover is the definitive ultra-luxury off-roader. It combines style, sophistication, and cutting-edge technology with trail-ready capability that few other luxury SUVs can match.
What’s New for the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover
The Range Rover has been completely redesigned for the 2023 model year. This fifth generation of the full-size SUV offers a number of potent, efficient drivetrains and premium appointments.
Design
The Range Rover might be all-new, but its styling is an evolution of the previous design. It has the same overall profile but with smoothed-out lines, especially in the rear of the vehicle. The Range Rover comes standard with 21-inch alloy wheels. 22-inch and 23-inch wheels are optional or included on higher-level trims. It’s also offered in standard-wheelbase (SWB) and long-wheelbase (LWB) variants, depending on the trim selected.
Powertrain
The base engine (P360) in the 2023 Range Rover is a 355-horsepower turbocharged inline six-cylinder with a mild-hybrid system. The P400 uses a similar engine, tuned to put out 395 horsepower. The P440e is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of this powertrain, using an electric motor to put out a combined 434 horsepower. The top-tier P530 powertrain features a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 which makes 423 horsepower.
The base powertrain returns fuel economy of 18 mpg city, 26 highway, and 21 combined. The V8 powertrain returns 16 mpg city, 21 highway, and 18 combined. Fuel economy estimates have not yet been stated for the plug-in hybrid, but Land Rover claims it can drive up to 48 miles on electric-only power. The PHEV also has DC fast-charging capability. The Range Rover requires premium fuel in all of its powertrains.
Interior
The 2023 Range Rover comes standard with leather upholstery, power-adjustable front and rear seats, heated front and rear seats, three-zone automatic climate control, a hands-free power liftgate, power-retractable door handles, and a panoramic sunroof. Available features include ventilated front seats, quad-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated rear seats. The SWB provides 83.5 cubic feet of cargo space while the LWB provides 92.8 cubic feet of cargo space, accessed via a standard hands-free power liftgate.
Technology
Standard tech features for the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover include a fully digital instrument panel and a 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Amazon Alexa. The SUV also has wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and a 14-speaker stereo.
Safety
Standard safety tech includes automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a surround-view parking monitor, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and traffic-sign recognition. Available safety tech includes a head-up display and hands-free parking assist.
Pricing
As of this writing, Land Rover lists the pricing of the 2023 Range Rover as $106,500 for the SE trim. The SE with the P440e powertrain starts at $110,500. The Autobiography trim starts at $166,000. The Range Rover SV starts at $226,500. The 2023 Land Rover Range Rover is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile powertrain warranty.

What owners say
"Overall, drivers are highly impressed with the 2023 Land Rover Range Rover, celebrating its blend of luxury, elegance, and performance. Many love its stunning design and comfortable ride, likening it to high-end vehicles like Rolls-Royce. However, there are hints of frustration regarding design trends that seem to mimic competitors, but overall, drivers appreciate the uniqueness of this SUV."
Great combination of performance and luxury with a commanding ride.
August 3, 2025After owning a 2023 Range Rover SE, I would say hands-down this SUV is on the same level as a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Absolute elegance and luxury
December 4, 2022The all new 2023 Land Rover Range Rover SE has to be one of the most beautiful SUVs ever made, luxurious, elegant and drives beautifully

November 29, 2022Sleek and definitely understated! My favorite Range Rover body style yet! I love that it still has all the refined details and none of the over the top with moldings, led lights, and extra screens to distract. Im a little frustrated that most major manufacturers are also using details in their new designs from opponents like grille styles, side vents, lettering, etc that clearly show Land Rover has been setting the bar for a while and they continue to do so! I also like that their trim levels and options are a little more limited. Im more than happy to pay a little extra for a limited color and interior configuration so Im not seeing 10 other vehicles that look just like mine as Im driving around town! My 1st car was a restored Chevy Nova from my fathers body shop so when I received my 2023 Rover in September of 2022, as a working 40 something mother of two girls, dogs and horses, you could not have a more appreciative consumer and dedicated Rover enthusiast, keep em coming!
May 27, 2024Great truck! Super comfortable! My first Range Rover and I’m super impressed!
