For 2020, Chrysler discontinues the lower trims of the Pacifica minivan and introduces a new model called the Voyager.
The Voyager uses the same body and interior as the Pacifica, and the two are distinguishable only by badging and some exterior trim. The Voyager can seat up to 7 people. With the second and third rows folded, it offers 140.5 cubic feet of cargo space. The Voyager even supports BraunAbility rear- and side-entry ramp conversions for scooters and wheelchairs.
Like the Pacifica, the Voyager’s sole powertrain is a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Like most minivans, it comes standard with front-wheel drive (FWD). With standard start-stop technology, the Voyager should match the Pacifica’s fuel-economy rating of 19 mpg city, 28 highway, and 22 combined.
Chrysler offers the Voyager in L and LX trims. It also offers an LXi trim for fleet customers. The L trim comes with a second-row bench seat, cloth upholstery, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 6 speakers, and active noise cancellation. The LX trim adds second-row captain’s chairs, satellite radio, and in-floor storage bins. With either trim, you can add heated seats and a roof rack. The LX trim offers the option of an overhead DVD player.
All Voyagers come with a reversing camera. The available SafetyTec Group bundles rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-path detection. The structurally identical Pacifica earned a Top Safety Pick award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The new 2020 Chrysler Voyager is a value-priced option in the minivan category. It competes with other minivans like the Honda Odyssey.

What owners say
"Overall, owners find the 2020 Chrysler Voyager to be a great value for families, offering ample space and comfort at an affordable price. Many appreciate the foldable seats that maximize cargo space. However, some feel it lacks certain modern features found in competitors and consider it overpriced for its mileage. The driving experience is generally smooth, but the auto park feature has received mixed reviews."
This car is about value, don’t expect it to compete with top notch Toyota or Honda, you should probably look at the Pacifica to do that. In terms of functionality and doing the job of a mini van it does that very well. Mine is equipped with stow and go seats, leather, CarPlay and android auto. None of the new safety features such as lane keep, adaptive cruise or even LED headlights but it’s also very cheap. Motor has plenty of power drives smooth and gets great mileage IMO. I get over 30mpg highway and with almost 70k miles it still feels very new
September 12, 2022We bought this van in November, it’s now February, and we’ve really enjoyed it. We have four daughters, two in car seats, and are a pretty busy family. It’s been great for groceries, long travel, etc. It drives very nicely, car handling, very comfortable seats no matter where you sit. I would have liked to see a few other features on it, maybe possible on a higher trim, I feel like interior lighting is a bit lacking, and the computer doesn’t always recognize my iPhone for music. Overall it’s a very good vehicle and worth a look at if you’re in the market.
February 23, 2023Great vehicle for the value price , roomy and affordable.
