Dealer's description
Corvette Convertible Restomod 6.2L LS3 V8 6-speed SRIII Stage 2 Chassis A/C /// This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible was acquired by its current owner in 2020 as an already well-executed restomod before receiving more than $200,000 in additional development and upgrades. Its current configuration combines classic C2 styling with an SRIII Motorsports Stage II chassis, LS3 power, modern independent suspension and a comprehensively customized interior. Finished in metallic blue, the body features a contrasting white stripe over a stinger-style hood with an open scoop, LED headlamps with electrically operated doors, a 1965-style fuel door and familiar exterior trim. Staggered 19" front and 20" rear Schott Turbine wheels are wrapped in 235/35ZR19 and 305/30ZR20 Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires. Power comes from a 6.2L LS3 V8 with a Holley Sniper EFI intake manifold and stainless headers feeding side exhaust, paired with a Silver Sport Transmissions T56 6-speed manual and Dynotech driveshaft. An 8.8 inch independent rear end features 3.55 gearing and a limited-slip differential, while the SRIII Stage II chassis incorporates C7 front and rear independent suspension, Viking double-adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering and C7 Z51 four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, white diamond-stitched bucket seats and matching door panels contrast with blue carpeting, a body-matched dashboard and white leather-wrapped instrument binnacles. Classic Instruments gauges, a custom leather-wrapped steering wheel and modern air conditioning further update the cockpit, while a Pioneer touchscreen head unit provides Bluetooth, SiriusXM capability and a back-up camera through a Kenwood speaker system with a PowerBass enclosure. The extensive chassis, drivetrain and interior upgrades come together as a cohesive, comprehensively developed interpretation of the 1964 Corvette.
