Power comes from a Chevrolet ZZ4 350ci V8 equipped with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. A narrowed 12-bolt rear axle features 4.10 gearing and new Moser axle shafts, while the lowered suspension incorporates C-notched rear frame rails. Power steering is joined by POL four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled rotors and a Wilwood brake master cylinder, while an aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans and modern air conditioning round out the mechanical upgrades. Inside, a black upholstered bench seat and matching door panels are paired with an original-style Chevrolet steering wheel and factory-style instrumentation. A Bluetooth-equipped RetroSound audio system feeds Kicker speakers through a Pioneer amplifier and subwoofer, with added sound deadening throughout the cabin. Holley Sniper EFI monitoring is positioned in the glovebox, while Vintage Air controls operate the modern air conditioning system. Shoulder belts replace the original-style lap belts, Altman Easy Latch door latches by Trique Manufacturing update the doors, and a Boyd's Welding fuel tank has been relocated beneath the bed floor.
