2012 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 ROUSH / Ford Performance / Baer / Vossen Upgrades This is NOT your average 2012 Mustang GT. Powered by Ford's legendary 5.0L 32-valve Ti-VCT Coyote V8, this Mustang has been extensively upgraded inside and out with a combination of ROUSH, Ford Performance, Baer, Vossen, Moroso and other premium aftermarket components. Under the hood, the first thing you'll notice is the striking Ford Performance "Powered by Ford" blue Coyote coil covers, giving the engine compartment a look reminiscent of Ford's Boss 302-era performance cars. A ROUSH cold-air intake replaces the standard induction system, while a blue Moroso aluminum coolant expansion tank, billet-style caps, engine-bay dress-up components, breather modifications and a WARHORSE power-distribution cover complete the custom engine compartment. This Mustang remains naturally aspiratedthere is no supercharger currently installedso buyers get the sound, response and character of the 5.0 Coyote without the additional complexity of a forced-induction setup. The modifications continue underneath. Up front are massive Baer 6-piston performance brakes paired with oversized two-piece drilled/slotted rotors, a substantial upgrade over the standard GT braking system. The car rides on a set of Vossen wheels with an aggressive staggered appearance, complemented by a performance-oriented stance and a substantial strut-tower brace under the hood. ROUSH equipment is found throughout the car, including the ROUSH cold-air intake, ROUSH-branded exhaust, interior ROUSH trim/badging and exterior performance styling components. The exhaust gives the 5.0 Coyote the deep V8 character these cars are known for. The exterior has been transformed from a standard Mustang GT with an aggressive hood scoop, front fascia/splitter treatment, side skirts, rear spoiler, dark grille, upgraded lighting and Vossen wheel package. Inside, the car features a distinctive saddle/brown leather interior along with ROUSH-branded interior details. While we don't have receipts from the original builder and therefore can't represent an exact investment, recreating a Mustang with this combination of Baer brakes, Vossen wheels, ROUSH intake/exhaust components, Ford Performance pieces, Moroso hardware, body upgrades, lighting and engine-bay customization could easily represent $10,000+ in parts and labor, depending on the exact components and installation. The Baer brake setup alone is a major performance upgrade, and the Vossen wheel package represents another substantial investment. Boss 302-inspired, but its own build Ford's Boss 302 was the factory track-focused Mustang of this era, and this GT carries some of that same visual/performance characterparticularly the naturally aspirated Coyote architecture, Ford Performance engine dress-up, upgraded brakes and chassis-focused modifications. This vehicle is a Mustang GT and is not being represented as a factory Boss 302. Likewise, the vehicle contains numerous genuine ROUSH-branded components, but we are not representing it as a serialized ROUSH Stage vehicle without supporting documentation.
