According to the accompanying documentation, this Chevelle was built at Chevrolet's Fremont, California assembly plant. The cowl-tag information identifies it as a 1966 Malibu Custom two-door, originally finished in Ermine White with a black vinyl bench-seat interior. That documentation is included with the car along with restoration photographs, show history, and additional supporting material. Under the hood is the car's original 283 cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.
