HIGHLIGHTS: SPECTACULAR, SHOW-QUALITY RESTORATION JUST RELEASED FROM A PROMINENT COLLECTION HIGHLY DESIRABLE COLOR COMBINATION DRIVES AND PERFORMS AS NEW HIGHLY OPTIONED ACCOMPANIED WITH ITS OWNER'S MANUAL AND TONNEAU COVER SIMPLY ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES WE'VE OFFERED IN YEARS TREMENDOUS INVESTMENT POTENTIAL A COLLECTOR'S DREAM FEATURES INCLUDE: 1.3L INLINE-4 FOUR-SPEED MANUAL TONNEAU COVER TURN SIGNALS REMOVABLE SIDE CURTAINS CHROME HUBCAPS LEATHER UPHOLSTERY The MG T-Type sports car (affectionately referred to as the Midget), was first introduced in 1936 as a replacement to the PA/PB models. With somewhat larger dimensions versus its predecessor and increased horsepower with an OHV Inline-4, the new TA carried on the success of the older model and offered British driving enthusiasts exceptional handling and - for the time - impressive performance. Of course, MG released several major updates to the car over the years, first the TB in 1939 followed by the TC in 1945. The fourth iteration of the classic T-Type, the TD, was announced in January 1950. While sharing similar styling with prior T-Type models, the TD featured a new 'Y-Type' chassis, updated rear axle, and independent front suspenion in addition to the familiar drivetrain from the TC. The transformation was dramatic, with period critics describing the new car as being much better behaved on the road as well as more comfortable. With a yet again larger body, some British enthusiasts felt the car was too American. Yet, the car enjoyed exceptional sales and is today one of the most well regarded classic MG sports cars. The incredible 1952 MG TD Roadster featured here is finished in gorgeous Woodland Green (a.k.a. British Racing Green) over a Beige leather interior with a matching convertible top. This investment-grade MG has been beautifully restored and is now ready to be shown or driven. A recent $6,000 mechanical servicing was just performed, making this the perfect example to add to any premier collection. Offered to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who desires only the very best at an investment price!
