Dealer's description
Some vehicles are restored. Others are rebuilt. The exceptional ones tell a story.Baja began as a remarkably solid Arizona 1973 Ford Bronco equipped from the factory with the desirable Ranger packageFord's premium trim level that offered upgraded interior appointments and distinctive exterior styling. Having spent most if not all of its life in Arizona, the Bronco provided an outstanding foundation for restoration, avoiding many of the corrosion issues commonly found in vehicles from harsher climates.Rather than restoring the Bronco to factory specifications or building an over-customized showpiece, Paradise Customs pursued a different visionone inspired by the legendary Bill Stroppe Baja Broncos that forever changed the Bronco's place in American automotive history.During the late 1960s and early 1970s, Bill Stroppe partnered with Ford to produce specially prepared Broncos that became icons of Baja competition. Their unmistakable appearance, rugged capability, and racing success established them among the most celebrated four-wheel-drive vehicles ever produced.Stroppe-inspired Poppy Red-Wimbledon White-Metallic Blue-Satin/Matte Black-Argent Silver finishMore than fifty years later, their influence remains so significant that Ford Motor Company honored their legacy with the introduction of the2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition, reaffirming the enduring impact of Bill Stroppe's vision on the Bronco brand.Inspired by that heritage, Baja was built not as a replica, but as a modern interpretation of the same philosophy: preserve the unmistakable character of the original Bronco while thoughtfully improving reliability, drivability, comfort, and craftsmanship. The result is a Bronco that feels every bit as authentic today as it would have decades agoonly refined for today's roads.Every major system has been restored, rebuilt, or upgraded during an extensive frame-off restoration.A professionally rebuilt Ford 302 V8 serves as the heart of the Bronco, upgraded with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and HEI electronic ignition for dependable starting, smooth performance, and modern drivability. Power is delivered through a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission and rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case, creating a driving experience that is equally enjoyable on winding back roads, scenic highways, or weekend adventures. The chassis was completely disassembled before the frame and suspension components were powder coated and meticulously reassembled. The front and rear axles were rebuilt, the braking and steering systems restored, and the electrical system completely modernized with an all-new wiring harness, Dakota Digital instrumentation, LED lighting, and numerous reliability improvements throughout.Features include:Factory Ranger BadgingTom's Offroad seatingDakota Digital digital instrument clusterRetro Radio Bluetooth audio systemEZ Power windows with Nu-CranksCustom family-style roll cageThree-point seat beltsAmp Power StepsNew insulation and carpetingPainless electrical system throughoutParadise Customs Tool-less Hardtop Hoist SystemCall for complete details. ** SHOWN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY **
