502-Powered 1957 Cadillac Series 62 Hardtop Coupe DeVilleThis 1957 Cadillac Series 62 hardtop coupe is said to have spent time with two owners before it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Modifications performed under previous ownership included a repaint in black, powder-coating the bumpers and exterior brightwork silver, retrimming the interior in black leather, and installing a 502ci Chevrolet V8 and a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a Holley four-barrel carburetor, power windows, air conditioning, a Kenwood CD stereo, three-point seat belts, and a power-adjustable front bench seat. Service performed in preparation for the sale included the installation of replacement spark plugs, brake drums, and radial whitewall tires. This Series 62 coupe is now offered with a clean California title.Finished from the factory in Eton Gray Metallic (16), the car was repainted black under previous ownership, and the bumpers, egg-crate grille, hood ornament, badges, bodyside trim, and lighting surrounds were powder-coated silver. Exterior details include a wraparound windshield and rear window, chrome window trim, a concealed fuel filler, and exhaust outlets integrated into the rear bumpers. The power-assisted brakes were also fitted with replacement drums at that time. Suspension incorporates a coil-sprung independent front setup, Bilstein shocks at all four corners, and a live rear axle with leaf springs.The cabin houses a power-adjustable front bench upholstered in black leather with perforated inserts. Matching upholstery extends to the rear bench, and color-coordinated upholstery trim covers the dashboard, door panels, and headliner. An aftermarket air conditioning system and a Kenwood CD stereo were installed under previous ownership, and additional amenities include power windows, three-point seatbelts, and a fold-down rear armrest.The two-tone gray steering wheel features a chrome horn ring, and it frames a 120-mph speedometer and readouts for fuel level and engine temperature. Stewart Warner gauges for oil pressure, engine temperature, and amperage are mounted below the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 41k miles, approximately 200 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown. Some of the gauges do not work.The 502ci Chevrolet V8 is said to have been installed under previous ownership approximately 300 miles ago. It features an Edelbrock intake manifold and air cleaner as well as a Holley four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, and Feuling valve covers. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. Replacement spark plugs were installed in March 2026, and an oil change was also performed.Power is sent to the rear wheels via a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, which was reportedly serviced in 2026.
