Showing approximately 100 test miles since completion, it is powered by an overhauled 4.2L Toyota 2F inline-six paired with a factory H42 four-speed manual transmission and dual-range transfer case. Engine work included a rebuilt cylinder head with a valve job, new piston rings and bearings, and a polished crankshaft, with photographs documenting the overhaul, while the transmission, transfer case, and both solid axles were inspected and resealed during the restoration. Finished in Mustard Yellow, the body was restored using a 3/4 Aqualu aluminum tub and retains its unmistakable upright profile with a matching hardtop, factory-style grille, silver-painted steel bumpers, and 15" steel wheels wrapped in 33x10.50 BFGoodrich All-Terrain KO2 tires. An Old Man Emu suspension complements the rugged chassis, while power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and a GEN V Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system improve everyday usability. Inside, the gray vinyl interior remains faithful to the Land Cruiser's utilitarian heritage with a painted steel dashboard, body-color spray-in textured floor liner covered by removable carpeting, and a traditional floor-mounted shifter arrangement.
