Dealer's description

Frame-Off Built 1957 Bel Air Convertible Restomod 405hp LS6 V8 Automatic A/C /// Among Chevrolet's most celebrated designs, the 1957 Bel Air has earned its place as one of the most recognizable American automobiles ever built. This custom convertible carries that legacy forward with contemporary GM performance, upgraded chassis engineering, and a meticulously crafted interior while preserving the unmistakable styling that defines Chevrolet's Tri-Five era. Finished in vibrant red with a matching red cloth convertible top, it features traditional Bel Air gold anodized trim, sweeping aluminum quarter inserts, extensive chrome brightwork, hood rockets, distinctive tailfins, and polished 18" Billet Specialties SLG20 Hollowpoint wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 performance tires. Power comes from a 405-horsepower LS6 5.7L V8 paired with a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, delivering power to a 12-bolt rear axle equipped with 3.73 gearing and a limited-slip differential. Stainless long-tube headers, a polished aluminum radiator, and a custom Bel Air-script engine cover complement the modern powertrain. An Eckler's chassis incorporates tubular front control arms, Viking adjustable coilovers, power rack-and-pinion steering, a 4-link rear suspension, and C5 Corvette four-wheel power disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors and red-painted calipers. Inside, a custom interior by Ciadella Interiors of Tempe, Arizona features red upholstery with traditional cloud-pattern inserts, custom door panels, a fully upholstered trunk, a polished billet 3-spoke steering wheel on a polished tilt column, Classic Instruments gauges, a custom center console, power windows, modern air conditioning, and a digital Wonderbar radio that blends vintage appearance with contemporary functionality.
