Dealer's description
Few hot rods have a silhouette as instantly recognizable as the 1932 Ford Roadster. This beautifully finished '32 Ford combines that timeless shape with a stout small block, six-speed manual transmission, and thoughtful craftsmanship throughout. Built around a Be Bop Glass Works body with a steel louvered hood, it carries traditional hot rod style while offering the mechanicals to make it genuinely fun on the road. Power comes from a 400 cubic-inch Chevrolet small block V8 built with forged pistons, a balanced rotating assembly, GM Vortec heads, Comp Cams roller rockers and camshaft, finned valve covers, and custom headers. A T-56 6-speed manual sends power to a Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.89:1 Posi gears. A Griffin aluminum radiator and an electric fan help keep temperatures in check. Classic details continue underneath with a 5-inch Magnum front axle and 1965 Buick finned brake drums. Painted 15-inch steel wheels wear hubcaps, trim rings, and brand-new Mickey Thompson tires. The painted and detailed undercarriage receives the same attention as the exterior and engine compartment. Inside, Wine Red leather creates a rich contrast, with the trunk finished to match. A turned aluminum dash houses Auto Meter gauges, while a removable steering wheel, heater, dual 12-volt outlets, under-dash shelf, and locking storage compartment add practical touches. A removable soft top with side curtains provides some protection when the weather changes. For anyone searching for a 1932 Ford Roadster for sale or a thoughtfully built 1932 Ford, this roadster has the right mix of traditional looks and serious road-going hardware. Grab the six-speed, listen to the small block through those custom headers, and enjoy a hot rod built for more than just looking good parked at the show.
