These expenses include the fancy building the location of the dealership the staff payroll advertising budget interest on inventory etc. I feel that my success in this business has been due to three main reasons. 1) I stay far removed from the stereo-type associated with car dealers and salesmen. 2) I am very picky in my selection of vehicles. 3) My overhead is almost non-existent as compared to that of most dealerships so I do not need to charge anywhere near as much as they do.
