Dealer's description

All vehicle trades considered including classics and performance. We can assist with financing and shipping as needed. Here is a 1969 El Camino with a lot to offer. It is a well-documented, low mileage example that combines an exceptional original car with a great blend of restoration work. It looks fantastic and really sounds the part, but is also a lot of fun to drive with its crate 350ci engine and 4-speed transmission. Whether you are an El Camino fan or just like the muscle car experience, this one is worth a look. This Chevy shows just 30k miles and comes with its original owners manual, Protect-O-Plate, build sheets, and more. The body is in excellent condition throughout; I dont think anything demonstrates this as well as the bed which looks like new! It received a professional bare metal repaint by Roths Auto Restoration in 2009 using PPG base coat / clear coat in its original code 52 Garnet Red. All rubber seals and window felts were all replaced as well. The black vinyl top really adds to the look as does all the chrome and trim which is in fantastic condition. It rides on Rally wheels that have been painted to match. The tires are BF Goodrich size P245/60R15. Note these are from 2011 and should be replaced; we can assist the next owner with the tire of their choice if interested. Originally a 307ci car, this one is now powered by an Engine Factory 350ci with 6,500 miles since new. This unit features a 4-bolt main block, roller camshaft, and Edelbrock aluminum heads. You will also find an Edelbrock Air Gap intake, 650cfm 4-barrel carburetor with electric choke, and Mallory ignition components. A new radiator was also installed at the time of the engine swap. The exhaust uses a beautiful set of mid-length headers feeding dual Flowmasters which sound amazing. This all delivers plenty of power along with an attractive engine compartment that maintains an old-school look despite all the upgrades. The powertrain continues with a Muncie M20 4-speed transmission that was rebuilt by Davids 4-Speeds (note this is an original 4-speed car). A replacement driveshaft feeds the 10-bolt Positraction rear end with 3.36 gears. The brakes were recently converted to power front discs using parts from SSBC. Finally, power steering is also present for easy maneuvering. The black vinyl interior appears stock except for the addition of a temperature gauge, tachometer, and digital radio with a Bluetooth adapter. The bucket seats flank a center console, all of which are in great condition. The same is true of the carpet, door panels, headliner, and dashboard. A tilt steering column is topped by a classic 3-spoke steering wheel. The dash lights, courtesy lights, glove box light, backup lights, turn signals, and Holley RetroBright headlights all work properly. So do all the gauges, horn, wipers, washers, heater / defroster, and parking brake. A set of rubber floor mats is included. Like the Chevelle, there are plenty of El Caminos on the market. And while so many of these have been ridden hard and put away wet, this example could not be more different. It is a solid, honest car that has seen plenty of improvements and is accompanied by wonderful documentation along with a huge folder of receipts. Not to mention a ride that will get a smile from any classic car buff.
