Dealer's description

T his is an amazing and simply gorgeous condition Jaguar XJ6 saloon. Finished in Cobalt blue metallic with grey interior which presents as an absolutely lovely example. A good way to describe this Jaguar is to pretend you are in, say, the late 90s and you are buying a well-kept 1986 Jaguar from the authorised dealer. This is a very special example as it is a Rest Of World (ROW) specification (sometimes referred to as Euro Spec) having been sold new in Saudi Arabia. As such, it has many features not found on North American cars, to include; those gorgeous pepper-pot alloy wheels, the full size 7 outer headlamps, headlight wipers, rear head-rests and gorgeous tweed-style herringbone fabric seats. These are all factory fitment. ROW cars also had the higher compression engines so overall performance exceeds American spec cars. And, the best part about being an ex-Saudi car, it has been completely freed of any inclement weather so is entirely rust and scale free through-out. She was imported to the US around 2009. This is a 1 family owned car since new. Purchased new in Saudi Arabi in 1986, imported to Arizona in 2009 and then sold to his brother in 2012 when the car had 61,000 miles. The car now sports a low 76,000 miles, and although residing in Wisconsin for the last 13 years, the minimal 1,000 miles per year since travelled were never in inclement weather and it shows without a spec of rust anywhere. Everything works as it should and as pictures show, is in immaculate presentation. Recently serviced and all in working order to include new shock and steering bushings and brake service by experienced technicians. Mechanically the car is fantastic with no known issues. Just a quick look under the hood is testament to how well this XJ6 has been maintained. Mounted are correct 205/70-15 sized Goodyear tyres with plenty of tread. The factory correct Jaguar pepper-pot alloys are in excellent shape. Every single feature and function works as it should; windows, door locks, sun-roof, antenna, stereo, A/C, heater, interior and exterior lights, horn (both high and low). the complete list. Body and paint is excellent. The American owner actually did a complete back to bare metal respray in about 2013 because it showed fade from its time in Saudi but never accident or rust damaged. It was a doors off/windows out repaint which on todays value would cost some $25,000 with all new rubbers, gaskets and finishers. A photo album of the repaint comes with the car along with a detailed history file. Today, she is very shiny and consistent with hardly a minor chip here and there. There is no rust in the typical areas namely; the bottom of the front and rear windows, lower fenders, rockers and wheel arches. Unlike many Jaguars of the era, this one is free of the ugly side mouldings installed by dealers when new. The interior is quite a stunning aspect of the car. The tweed herringbone cloth seats are a wonderful and unique feture which present in top condition a huge advantage over leather in that, by now, leather seats would be looking a little tired and old. The carpets are excellent and the original headliner is in good condition without any of the typical droop usually seen on this model. The wood on the dash is a little disappointing with a few too many hairline cracks in the clear but the actual walnut veneer is in nice condition. Park-Ward Motors does in-house Rolls-Royce wood restoration so if you want the interior of this car to look perfect we would be happy to provide the wood refinishing service. I can guarantee we will provide a better than factory finish so please enquire (see pic in gallery). Aside from the actual wood finish, have a close look at the buttons and switch gear; they are all in excellent condition. Simply amazing. The rear parcel shelf shows no sign of fade. She is also a non-smoker car so clean and sweet. Not much more can be said but to invite you to take a close look at the many
