Finished in exposed open-weave carbon fiber with triple stripes in Dark Open Carbon Fiber over a black interior, this GT500CR is a stunning modern interpretation of one of the most iconic American muscle cars ever produced. The interior is appointed with Carroll Shelby Scat Rally Series 1000 seats, an Alcantara-trimmed center console and headliner, and a leather-wrapped aluminum steering wheel. Ahead of the driver sits a Carroll Shelby Signature gauge cluster featuring white-faced dials and a 200-mph speedometer. Power comes from a Gen III Ford Performance Coyote 5.0L V8 equipped with a Whipple supercharger, producing an impressive 810 horsepower. Supporting modifications include Stainless Works long-tube headers, MagnaFlow mufflers, Be Cool aluminum crossflow cooling components, VaporWorx twin fuel pumps, and a Stealth 18-gallon fuel cell. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and a Fab 9-inch rear axle with a 3.70 gear ratio and Posi-Traction differential. Handling and drivability have been thoroughly modernized with a custom rack-and-pinion power steering system, Flaming River polished tilt steering column, adjustable front and rear coilover suspension, and oversized sway bars. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood brakes featuring 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers paired with 12-inch slotted, cross-drilled, and vented rotors at all four corners. The audio system was designed by Stillwater Designs and features Focal component speakers, including four mid-woofers, four tweeters, a subwoofer, and a Focal 5-channel amplifier. Custom GT500CR aluminum wheels measure 18x8 inches up front and 18x11 inches in the rear, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 225/40 front and 315/30 rear. The exterior is constructed entirely from carbon fiber body panels and is protected by full-body paint protection film. Additional Shelby-specific details include authentic Carroll Shelby carbon fiber exterior enhancements, Shelby sequential taillights, GT500CR badging, and a Carroll Shelby Le Mans-style racing fuel cap.
