Frame-Off Restored Chevy 3100 Custom 350ci V8 EFI Automatic Custom Interior /// A transitional-year Chevrolet pickup with upgraded performance and modern drivability, this 1955 Chevrolet 3100 Series 1 was restored and comprehensively reworked while retaining much of its original sheet metal and classic Advance Design styling. The frame was sandblasted and painted during the frame-off restoration, while exterior upgrades include a custom rear roll pan with Camaro RS reverse lights, filled stake pockets, widened rear wheel tubs, a relocated fuel filler hidden behind the rear fender, painted oak bed wood, and 17" polished Torq Thrust II wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires. Under the hood is a rebuilt 350ci V8 rated at approximately 300 horsepower and equipped with FiTech electronic fuel injection, double hump heads, a hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, long-tube headers, and an aluminum radiator with electric fan. Midland Engine Machine reportedly overhauled the engine in 2021 with receipts on file. Power is routed through a TH350 automatic transmission to a Ford 9" rear axle with a Strange limited-slip differential and 3.51 gearing, while a Gen 2 Camaro front clip, custom 4-link rear suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes, and power steering modernize the driving experience. The custom interior features Mustang GT bucket seats, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, Vintage Air climate controls, a RetroSound Bluetooth stereo, a custom center console, B&M shifter, and a rare 1962 Impala steering wheel. Documented with restoration and engine receipts, this 3100 combines classic Chevrolet truck styling with thoughtfully integrated mechanical and comfort upgrades throughout.
