Dealer's description

INTRODUCTION: Drop-dead gorgeous colors paired with chrome US Mags. Just 1,725 miles since a body-off, rotisserie restoration. It has all the right features-air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes-plus a 5-speed that makes it an absolute blast to drive. EXTERIOR: The finish on this car is absolutely stunning-you can practically shave in the reflection. The body is laser straight, clean from the rockers to the roof, with precise gaps throughout. The doors fit so well you don't slam them-just let go and they click shut on their own. All of the chrome and stainless has been replaced, including extras like bumper guards, stone shields, and rocker moldings. The glass is crystal clear all the way around, and the weatherstripping has been replaced. It also features bright LED taillights and sits on staggered US Mag wheels-17s up front and 18s in back-wrapped in performance tires for the perfect stance. INTERIOR: The interior is just as impressive as the exterior-the contrasting red is absolutely stunning. It's clearly a professional restoration with excellent fit and finish throughout. Down on the floor is fresh red carpet, matching mats and a 5-speed shifter! The door panels are custom, yet retain a classic look and feature new window cranks, handles, and armrests. The seats have been recushioned and beautifully reupholstered. The metal trim is painted gloss red, complemented by polished billet accents across the dash. It's been upgraded with a full set of modern gauges, a retro stereo, heat and A/C controls, and a tilt column with a Billet Specialties steering wheel. Overhead, a new red headliner and matching visors complete the look. Behind the scenes, it's been updated with a new wiring harness and modern push-in fuse panel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: You better have your sunglasses on when you open the hood-this engine bay sparkles like a jewelry case. Power comes from a strong 350 V8 making about 350 horsepower, topped with a polished aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb with electric choke, and HEI ignition. A set of coated headers lets it breathe, while the front of the engine is dressed with polished brackets, A/C compressor, alternator and it features power steering. The valve covers, breathers, and air cleaner are all chrome, with neatly routed plug wires through custom holders. Even the power brake booster and master cylinder are chrome. It runs cool with a polished aluminum radiator and electric fan, and features a gel battery and upgraded wiper motor. The entire compartment is beautifully detailed and painted-show-quality throughout. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb, the paint is finished slick just like the exterior. Inside, it's detailed to match the interior with a stunning red finish, fully boxed and upholstered for a clean, custom look. The carpeted floor adds a refined touch and there is even a CD changer for added convenience. UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame during restoration, it's as pretty underneath! The frame and chassis components were powder coated, the floors are pristine metal and painted gloss black. The steering and suspension was rebuilt, upgraded with upper tubular control arms in front and air shocks in back. The dual exhaust sounds great and has polished stainless Magnaflow mufflers and polished tips. The brake system was rebuilt and upgraded with discs in front. The lines and e-brake assembly were replaced. The fuel system was replaced and the tank is gloss black. Looking up at the motor it is spotless and has a high torque starter. A 5-speed trans delivers power to a 10 bolt rear end with cruising gears and a chrome cover. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: When I bought this car, I loved everything about it-but I'll be honest, the colors are what made it a no-brainer. This '55 is absolutely killer, and it's guaranteed to get the attention it deserves wherever it goes. Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Air conditioning Power steering Power disc brakes Tilt wheel Custom gauges Retro stereo CD changer Bumper guards Rocker moldings Stone shields Dual mirrors LED taillights US Mags
