Machine work includes deck plate boring and honing plus line boring for precision tolerances. ARP main and head bolts secure the assembly throughout. Champion ported steel cylinder heads flow efficiently with the Champion ported intake manifold and 62mm throttle body. The valvetrain incorporates a Comp billet 210-228 roller camshaft actuated by Harland Sharp 1.6 ratio shaft-mounted roller rockers. Forced induction comes from a 67mm ball-bearing Precision turbo fed by TA Performance headers.-Transmission modifications center on a Russ Merritt-built 200R4 automatic designed for 9-second quarter-mile performance, paired with a PTC lock-up 10.5-inch converter and external Hayden transmission cooler. The FAST EFI system includes 2-step launch control and transbrake functionality. Fuel delivery utilizes an in-tank dual-pump Racetronix setup supporting the increased power output. Cooling system upgrades include a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The dual 2.5-inch Pypes exhaust system provides unrestricted flow from the turbo outlet.
