Dealer's description

Built for one purpose to go fast. This rare 1968 Chevrolet Camaro is a fully sorted, purpose-built drag car capable of 8-second passes, combining brutal big block power with a professionally built drivetrain and race-proven setup. Powered by a 468ci Big Block Chevrolet with 13:1 compression running on E85, paired to a TH400 transmission built by Lizard Transmissions and rated for up to 2,000 horsepower, this Camaro delivers serious performance without compromise. The car features a back-half conversion with a Dana 60 rear end, 3.56 gears, big tire setup, drag radial configuration, and a Lenko Lightning Rod shifter from Kilduff for an authentic race experience. Recently refreshed electrical and fuel systems include Teflon fuel lines, an Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, and an E85 carburetor for reliability under high load.Inside, the cabin is all business with dual 17 Kirkey racing seats, brand new racing harnesses, and a full roll cage safety system. Mechanically, the vehicle is reported to be in excellent condition and ready for the strip.A rare opportunity to own an extremely capable, professionally built 1968 Camaro drag car with proven performance, serious hardware, and the potential to compete at the highest level. Not for the faint of heart.
