Dealer's description

INTRODUCTION: This Camaro is the true definition of a Resto-Mod. It retains the original style and charm that make people fall in love with classic cars in the first place, while being carefully upgraded with the comfort, reliability, and drivability we expect from a modern vehicle. Features like Vintage Air, an overdrive automatic transmission, electric headlight doors, upgraded seating, and many more thoughtful enhancements make this car an absolute pleasure to drive and enjoy. Just as impressive is the quality of the restoration itself. The fit, finish, and attention to detail throughout this Camaro are remarkable, making it a car you can proudly show off and confidently drive anywhere. EXTERIOR: I am truly impressed with this Camaro, and you know I look at thousands of these cars! The fit, finish, and features give this one knockout appeal. The body panels are aligned precisely, every square inch is laser straight, and it's repainted in beautiful Matador Red that's been carefully worked and polished to a mirror like finish. The correct black stripe is painted on smooth and crisp. It's not only dressed up with spoilers, but also equipped with the highly desirable Rally Sport package, featuring hideaway headlights, relocated reverse lights, and the bright trim along the tops of the doors. The lighting system functions properly, and the headlight doors have been upgraded to electric for reliable operation every time. The chrome, moldings, emblems, and weatherstrips have all been replaced, and the convertible top is new as well. It even has a custom made convertible boot unlike anything I've seen on another Camaro. It snaps on easily, fits beautifully, and is padded for a much cleaner, more finished appearance. Anyone who's wrestled with a factory Camaro boot knows exactly how nice that feature is. The chrome plated Rally wheels add an extra level of shine and are wrapped in BFGoodrich tires that are wider in back for the perfect muscle car stance. They absolutely nailed the wheel and tire combination on this one. INTERIOR: They nailed it in here too with excellent fit and finish throughout. It does a great job of retaining its vintage charm while incorporating subtle yet highly desirable upgrades. This is a deluxe interior that has been completely restored, including the molded door panels, armrests, carpet, and all the upholstery. The front seats are modern upgrades with improved bolstering and seat extenders for taller drivers, yet they're upholstered in the original style pattern so they blend in perfectly with the car's classic appearance. The dash is fully equipped with the factory gauge package including the desirable Tic-Toc-Tach, along with the gauge cluster mounted on the center console. The console also features a staple shifter and an updated overdrive shift indicator. The deluxe steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column for added comfort. It has a complete set of reproduction seat belts and embroidered floor mats down below. Even the factory radio appearance has been preserved, though it's actually a modern retro style stereo system. Open the doors and you'll also notice the bright LED interior lighting, giving the cabin a crisp, upscale feel. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Power comes from an ATK high performance 350 making an impressive 345 horsepower and 400 lbs of torque. Internally, it's built right with a 4-bolt main block, reground crank, new rods, pistons, rings, roller cam, and double roller timing chain. On top is an aluminum intake with a Holley Sniper fuel injection system and electronic ignition for outstanding drivability and reliability. It exhales through powder coated Doug Thorley headers for both performance and a great sound. This engine compartment was built with a focus on reliability and enjoyment, while still delivering all the power and features you want in a classic muscle car. It's also presented beautifully. During the restoration, the metal surfaces were refinished very nicely, the wiring was replaced, and the engine was dressed with a matched set of Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers. Components throughout appear fresh, including the alternator, power steering system, cadmium plated brake booster, and wiper motor. It's equipped with Vintage Air heat and air conditioning, and the cooling system has been updated with the proper fan shroud and fresh components to keep everything running cool and dependable. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and in the jamb is the same slick gloss red finish as the exterior. Inside is clean metal with a neatly applied spatter finish along with a trunk mat and matching cover over the spare tire. The weatherstrip and well liner have both been replaced, giving the compartment a fresh, tidy appearance. UNDERSIDE: It is exceptionally clean from front to back. Everything was removed during the restoration, including the subframe, and it was reassembled with rebuilt and upgraded components throughout. Up front, the suspension has been upgraded with tubular control arms and coilover adjustable gas shocks, while the steering system was rebuilt. In back, the springs, bushings, and shocks were all replaced. The brake system has been upgraded with disc brakes at all four wheels, the lines were replaced, and the e-brake assembly is properly hooked up. It also features an upgraded 2½-inch dual exhaust system with an X-pipe and stainless Magnaflow mufflers that give the car a great muscle car sound. The fuel system was replaced as well, including the tank. Looking up at the engine, it's clean Chevy orange with a high torque starter. The transmission is a Bowtie Overdrives Stage 2 200R4 automatic with overdrive, upgraded with a heavy duty torque converter and external oil cooler. A rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a rebuilt 12-bolt rear end equipped with 3.73 posi gears. The floors are incredibly smooth and straight, painted in a semi gloss black finish. Overall, this is an excep
