Live the dream in this stunning Superformance MKIII. The mile deep black paint really shows off he lines of this Superformance MKIII. Cobra badges are fitted to the nose, trunk and fenders, as well as the Steering Wheel Center Cap. Tri-Bar Headlights are a very nice period upgrade. The Cobra is powered by a 427 Windsor engine by Smeding Performance breathing through a Holley Terminator Electronic Fuel Injection system. The engine is highlighted by a classic "Turkey Pan" cold air intake, Ford Racing "427 Cobra" Valve Covers and a polished stainless steel Header Tank. Power goes to the 15" Mickey Thompson Rear Tires through a Tremec 5 Speed Manual Transmission. Period correct 15" Halibrand Style Pin Drive Wheels complete the classic look. A battery main shut-off switch is mounted inside the trunk. This Superformance MKIII has a Limited Slip Differential and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes. Other options include the custom-tuned Bilstein coil-over shocks with adjustable ride height. SP02842 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct dash layout, as well as a beautiful wood-rimmed steering wheel. The doors are secured by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. The steering wheel is crafted of fine wood while the dash is wrapped in leather, as are the steel framed seats that have period correct webbing for comfort and elegant aesthetics. Other key accessories include a fitted tonneau cover, soft top with side windows, and custom floor mats with Shelby logo. Custom upgrades from Cobra Valley Include front and rear sway bars, tie rod ends, ball joints, rear, and shock mount brackets, heim joint upgrades, fully adjustable shock absorbers with Cobra Valley tuned Springs, transmission shifter upgrade. Also included is an upgraded remote oil filter adapter. The Superformance MKIII is a meticulously engineered and crafted reproduction of the original, built under license from Carroll Shelby Licensing Inc. No expense was spared in recreating the legendary cars, ensuring an authentic sports car experience. SP02842 is sold on its original MSO with 20,122 miles and is available for $99,950.
