Engine and Performance The 2018 Ram 1500 Sport comes standard with a 5.7L HEMI V8 engine producing 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. A 3.6L Pentastar V6 with 305 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque is also available, using an 8-speed automatic, while a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 offers 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque for improved fuel efficiency and towing capability.
