Dealer's description

'56 Bel Air Restomod 6.2L LS3 V8 Automatic Art Morrison Chassis IRS A/C /// Chevrolet's 1956 Bel Air remains one of the most recognizable designs of the Tri-Five era, pairing jet-age styling with the performance potential that has long made these cars favorites among restorers and custom builders. This example has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration and carefully executed restomod build centered on LS power, an Art Morrison chassis and a custom-tailored interior. Finished in metallic blue over metallic silver, the body retains classic Bel Air trim, chrome and badging while incorporating subtle modern touches such as LED '56-style tail lamps and a lowered stance. Forgeline CH3P wheels measure 18" with a gunmetal finish and polished lips, wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force tires. Power comes from a 6.2L LS3 crate V8 equipped with a fabricated intake manifold, twin intakes with polished tubing and custom 'Bel Air' script coil covers, breathing through polished stainless long tube headers and a stainless dual exhaust. A smoothed firewall highlights the exceptionally clean engine bay, while a SuperMatic 4L60E 4-speed automatic sends power to a Strange rear end with 3.50 gears and a limited-slip differential. The Art Morrison chassis utilizes tubular front control arms, JRi coilovers at all four corners and an independent rear suspension, complemented by Wilwood four wheel power disc brakes and power rack-and-pinion steering. Inside, a custom leather interior features light grey bucket seats, dark blue carpet and a body-matched dash with classic Bel Air styling, Dakota Digital gauges, a Custom Autosound AM/FM/Aux head unit and modern air conditioning. A full-length center console and a classic Bel Air steering wheel on a tilting column complete a refined Tri-Five restomod that delivers striking presence with modern performance and drivability.
