Dealer's description

Bel Air Convertible Restomod LS7 V8 Automatic Art Morrison Leather A/C /// This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible was built to preserve the unmistakable presence of a Tri-Five while delivering the performance, comfort, and reliability of a modern high-end cruiser. Finished in deep black two-stage paint over a comprehensive, ground-up restoration, the body presents with tight panel fit, flat surfaces, and a refined stance that balances classic chrome and stainless trim with subtle modern touches, including integrated lighting and a cloth convertible top. Staggered Schott Mach V wheels sized 18" front and 20" rear give the car a planted, contemporary look without overpowering its timeless lines. Power comes from a GM 7.0L LS7 V8 rated at 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 4L80E 4-speed automatic and a Ford 9" rear axle with 3.50 gears and limited-slip differential. Long-tube headers feed a stainless exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. The drivetrain is mounted in a powder-coated Art Morrison chassis featuring tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, a four-link rear suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, and Wilwood power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. Inside, the red leather interior was custom-built by Steve Holcomb of Pro Auto Custom Interiors and blends classic design with modern comfort, featuring power-adjustable bucket seats, Classic Instruments gauges, Vintage Air climate control for modern A/C, and a full-length center console with Lokar shifter, power window and top controls, cupholders, and a touchscreen audio system with Bluetooth. Thoughtfully executed from the chassis up, this Bel Air Convertible delivers modern performance and drivability without losing the character that made the 1957 model an icon, making it a turn-key Tri-Five restomod built to be driven and enjoyed.
