The 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek 2.0i Premium is a compact crossover SUV built for drivers who want a combination of all wheel drive confidence, practicality, fuel efficiency, and light adventure capability in a simple, reliable package. Based on the Subaru Impreza platform, the Crosstrek takes a small hatchback design and elevates it with increased ground clearance, rugged styling, and standard AWDmaking it especially popular for city driving, outdoor lifestyles, and all weather conditions. At the heart of the 2014 Crosstrek 2.0i Premium is a 2.0 liter horizontally opposed boxer 4 cylinder engine, producing 148 horsepower and 145 lb ft of torque. While it is not designed for fast acceleration, it focuses on smooth, predictable power delivery and long term durability. It is paired with either a 5 speed manual transmission or Subarus CVT (automatic), both working with Subarus Symmetrical All Wheel Drive system, which is standard across all trims.
