Inside, the trunk compartment is rock solid and exceptionally clean. Lifting the mat reveals a proper redline spare tire, while the jack is mounted in its correct factory location, further highlighting the car's authenticity and careful restoration. UNDERSIDE: Underneath is as impressive as the top side, showing a very nicely restored and highly detailed chassis. The steering and suspension components appear fresh, and even the factory style assembly line markings have been duplicated for added authenticity. The brake system has also been restored, and the emergency brake is properly hooked up and functional. A great sounding dual exhaust system with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers gives the car the perfect muscle car tone. The fuel tank and lines have been replaced. Looking up at the drivetrain, the engine presents very cleanly, along with the correct 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. A rebuilt driveshaft sends power back to the stout 8¾ rear end equipped with 3.73 Sure-Grip gears.
