Dealer's description

INTRODUCTION: I purchased this from a very fussy seller- he is so fussy I'll gladly buy from him but wouldn't want to sell him one... LOL. That level of pickiness is exactly the kind of owner you want to buy from, it is detailed and dialed in! This is a #s matching R/T that received a ground up restoration, with reports that approximately $100,000 was invested about 10 years ago. Since completion, only around 500 miles have been put on the car, helping preserve the outstanding condition it presents in today. It's a beautifully restored example that has clearly been cared for to a very high standard EXTERIOR: This Dodge Coronet R/T has a bold, masculine body style with fit and finish that is truly outstanding. The body is laser straight from front to back, and the panels align with the kind of precision you'd expect from a new car. The R/T hood louvers add just the right touch of muscle car attitude, perfectly complementing the car's aggressive lines. Repainted in its original Spanish Gold, the metallic finish is laid out evenly with exceptional depth and clarity. The clear coat has been polished to a brilliant shine and feels slick to the touch. Overall, the chrome and trim are straight, bright, and sparkle beautifully. The windshield is brand new, while the remaining glass retains its original Mopar stampings and remains in good condition. The vinyl top is in excellent shape, the jambs are clean, and the weatherstrips have been replaced. Completing the look is a brand new set of 15-inch Cragar wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, giving the car the perfect stance. INTERIOR: The interior is extremely tidy and exceptionally well presented. Up front is an especially clean dash featuring detailed trim, shiny bezels, and the original radio still in place with no broken or drilled surfaces. Mounted to the steering column is a vintage style tachometer, just like enthusiasts installed back in the day. The center console is in mint condition and houses the automatic shifter along with working interior lights, while a nostalgic 8-track player is mounted just above it. The seats have been recushioned and reupholstered with a smooth, wrinkle free fit. The door panels and armrests have been replaced, and it retains a full set of seat belts front and rear. Fresh looking carpet covers the floor, while a tight fitting new headliner finishes the cabin overhead. Interior moldings, emblems, and even the pedals are all exceptionally clean, reflecting the overall quality and care of this car. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Lift the hood on this Dodge Coronet R/T and you'll find a show quality engine compartment that has been restored to factory condition in looks and function. At its heart is the legendary 440 Magnum, factory rated at 375 horsepower. According to the casting codes and stamped numbers, it is the correct engine for this car. Rebuilt and running strong, it is equipped with the proper components including factory style exhaust manifolds, correct ignition system, rechromed valve covers, and a beautiful air cleaner assembly. Designed to be as enjoyable to drive as it is to show, it features power steering and power brakes for effortless cruising. Cooling is handled by the correct Mopar radiator with the proper shroud, along with reproduction hoses and clamps. Even the details are exceptional, right down to the reproduction Mopar battery with proper hold down. Every component presents clean, correct, and orderly. The horns work, the windshield washer squirters are hooked up, and the engine bay itself is beautifully painted with clean metal throughout. For authenticity, the original fender tag and certicard remains in place, and the VIN stampings are present on the core support. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is finished just as nicely as the rest of the car, with the jamb beautifully painted and detailed with the correct factory decals and assembly line markings. Inside, the trunk compartment is rock solid and exceptionally clean. Lifting the mat reveals a proper redline spare tire, while the jack is mounted in its correct factory location, further highlighting the car's authenticity and careful restoration. UNDERSIDE: Underneath is as impressive as the top side, showing a very nicely restored and highly detailed chassis. The steering and suspension components appear fresh, and even the factory style assembly line markings have been duplicated for added authenticity. The brake system has also been restored, and the emergency brake is properly hooked up and functional. A great sounding dual exhaust system with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers gives the car the perfect muscle car tone. The fuel tank and lines have been replaced. Looking up at the drivetrain, the engine presents very cleanly, along with the correct 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission. A rebuilt driveshaft sends power back to the stout 8¾ rear end equipped with 3.73 Sure-Grip gears. The overall structure appears to be exceptionally clean, rust free metal, including the frame rails and floor pans. SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car we sell. CONCLUSION: Here's an opportunity to own a turnkey Dodge Coronet R/T that's ready to enjoy the moment it arrives. Whether you want to cruise out for ice cream on a sunny afternoon or pull into a car show with confidence, this car is prepared to do it all! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Power steering Power brakes 3.73 Sure Grip Bucket seats Console Tachometer 8-track player Vinyl top <br /
