Dealer's description

The 1962 Chrysler 300 is one of the most underappreciated American luxury performance cars of the era and this example makes a strong case for why serious collectors should be paying attention. Finished in Oyster White over tan leather bucket seats, it presents cleanly and carries the kind of documented history that changes how you look at a car. Under the hood is the 413CI Firepower V8 in high-output trim dual four-barrel carburetors breathing through the original air cleaners, high-output camshaft, and dual exhaust. This is the engine combination that made the 300 letter series the performance benchmark of its day. Backed by the TorqueFlite automatic and a Sure Grip differential, it was built to move and it still does. What sets this car apart from the average survivor is the paperwork. Maintenance records from the 1980s and 90s document oil changes, batteries, spark plugs, heater hoses the kind of ongoing care that keeps a car honest. The original VIN tag is present and carries a build date of December 28, 1961. Tinted glass and remote control mirror round out a car that was optioned for comfort and performance in equal measure. This isn't a freshened-up driver someone is trying to pass off as a survivor. It's the real thing documented, correct, and ready for the next chapter.
