1980 GMC C/K 1500 Series

1980 GMC C15 Sierra Classic Factory Shortbed Heavy Half Clean Title - 55k Original Miles 350 V8 / Turbo 350 Auto Here is an example of a C10 squarebody truck that you dont come across everyday. This GMC was sold new in Las Cruces, New Mexico and lived its entire life in the same town until we acquired it from the second owner. The truck is finished in Dark Carmine red over Carmine red velour interior and remains largely original including all of its factory sheet metal. Original rockers, cab corners and underside have never been replaced and do not have any rust whatsoever (be sure to check out the detailed 200 photo gallery). With only 55k actual miles, this truck drives exactly how youd expect - goes down the road as smoothly and quietly as it did when new. Recently serviced in preparation for the sale with the following work done: Oil change, spark plugs & wires, distributor cap & rotor, ignition control module, vacuum hoses, fuel pump, carburetor adjusted, front brake pads, rotors & all-terrain tires. Cosmetically, the exterior still wears most of its original paint which has faded to a nice patina due to the New Mexico sun. The truck was polished up and most but not all body panels took a nice shine. The bed is in near mint condition as it was covered for most of the past 45 years. Our plans for the truck were to clear coat the top sides and lower the suspension on a set of 20s but have decided it is too nice and original for that. The interior is nice & original with the exception of a reupholstered bench seat. The engine bay is unmolested, with a very clean firewall - all AC components are in place but not tested.
