OVERVIEW The Nissan GT-R Premium represents the final evolution of the legendary R35 platforman all-wheel-drive driver's machine that earned the nickname "Godzilla" by outperforming cars far more expensive. By the 2021 model year, the platform had been refined for over a decade, making the GT-R Premium incredibly fast, surprisingly usable, and still one of the most capable performance cars for real-world driving. Power comes from a hand-built 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6, producing 565 horsepower and 467 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission and Nissan's ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive system, allowing the GT-R to launch from 0-60 mph in a mere 2.9 seconds. Unlike rear-wheel-drive supercars that can be difficult to launch, the GT-R is known for delivering repeatable, brutally fast acceleration runs. The chassis is packed with performance technology designed to make the car both fast and controllable. Electronically controlled Bilstein dampers adjust suspension stiffness, while the AWD system constantly shifts power between the front and rear wheels to maintain traction. Massive Brembo brakes and wide performance tires give the GT-R enormous grip and stopping power. Visually, the GT-R keeps its iconic, muscular shape that has remained largely unchanged since its introduction. The wide stance, quad circular taillights, large front grille openings, and signature rear wing make it instantly recognizable. Unlike many exotic supercars, the GT-R's design is more functional than flashy, giving it a subtle but aggressive presence. Inside, the GT-R Premium offers more comfort and luxury than earlier versions.
