Check Engine Light Codes: Code P0740 indicates a Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Circuit/Open malfunction, meaning the powertrain control module (PCM) cannot properly engage the torque converter clutch. Code P1457 indicates a leak detected in the EVAP canister area (not the gas cap area) of the evaporative emission control system
