Dealer's description

1930 Ford Model A Hot Rod All-Steel Body | 350 SBC | Black Cherry | Black Interior | Rear Air Ride | 847 Miles If you are after a traditional hot rod with the right stance, the right attitude, and the right presence, this 1930 Ford Model A delivers in a big way. Finished in a deep Black Cherry over a Black interior, this coupe has the classic hot rod formula nailed-aggressive proportions, exposed small-block Chevy power, traditional pinstriping, black wire wheels, and a low, mean stance that gives it instant curb appeal. One of the biggest highlights of this car is that it is an all-metal body, not fiberglass. That is a major value point in a build like this and exactly what many buyers are looking for. The steel body gives the car a more authentic feel, better presence, and a level of substance that helps separate it from many replica-style or fiberglass-bodied street rods on the market. This Model A has the look every hot rod guy wants. The body is finished in a rich Black Cherry that shows beautifully under the lights and is accented with tasteful traditional-style pinstriping on the grille shell, cowl, and rear body. The combination of deep paint, blacked-out chassis components, and polished engine hardware gives the car a sinister but classy appearance. From every angle, it looks like a properly built traditional rod. Exterior / Body The overall stance and proportions on this coupe are exactly right. It has the compact, aggressive shape that made the early Ford coupes legends in the hot rod world. The body has been kept clean and simple, with a black roof insert, narrow rear glass, and a smooth rear panel treatment that keeps the car looking uncluttered. The small round taillights and subtle striping details finish it off perfectly. Again, the fact that this is an all-steel Model A body is a huge plus. It gives the car the real-deal old-school character that serious buyers appreciate and adds to the quality and desirability of the build. Wheels & Stance This Ford sits on black wire wheels with polished center caps and vintage-style tires that fit the theme perfectly. The exposed front suspension, long nose, and low roofline give it an unmistakable traditional hot rod look. It is also equipped with rear-only air ride, allowing the car to sit down low when parked for an even more aggressive stance. That feature gives it the best of both worlds: killer show presence while parked and adjustability to make the car more usable. The rear view especially shows just how much attitude this Ford has. Interior Inside, the cabin is all business and stays true to the stripped-down hot rod theme. The black interior is simple, clean, and functional, with painted metal structure, black door panels, black flooring, and a straightforward dash layout. It has the right old-school feel without unnecessary clutter. The interior features a large traditional steering wheel, classic-style gauge arrangement, and a manual shifter that all work together to give the cockpit an authentic hot rod personality. The dashboard houses a full set of gauges, including a large tach and supporting auxiliary gauges. Crystal-style knobs add a cool custom touch, and the whole cabin has that raw mechanical character that fits this build perfectly. Engine & Drivetrain Power comes from a 350 small-block Chevy, one of the most proven and respected engines ever used in a hot rod. It is the perfect choice for a build like this thanks to its reliability, strong performance, easy parts availability, and unmistakable V8 sound. The engine presentation is one of the best features of the car. Sitting proudly out in the open, the small-block is topped with triple carburetors and velocity stacks, along with finned valve covers, polished intake hardware, and custom headers. The side-exit exhaust gives the car even more attitude and completes the traditional hot rod look. Chassis / Underside The underside photos show a well-built and very clean chassis with boxed frame rails, clean mounting points, tidy plumbing, and a purposeful layout. The suspension and driveline setup appear well executed, and the rear air ride system is visible underneath. This is the kind of undercarriage presentation that helps back up the quality of the overall build. The Drive With its lightweight coupe body, V8 power, traditional hot rod setup, and attention-grabbing stance, this Model A looks like an absolute blast to drive. It has the visual drama you want at a show and the kind of straightforward, mechanical setup that makes old-school hot rods so much fun. This is not a cookie-cutter street rod-it has real personality, real presence, and the right parts in the right places.
