Dealer's description
Well-Optioned Camaro RS/SS Convertible 350ci V8 Muncie 4-spd Deluxe Interior /// Introduced for 1967 as Chevrolet's all-new pony car, the Camaro quickly established itself as a legitimate performance platform, particularly in Super Sport form. This authentic first-year Camaro SS convertible has benefitted from a detailed, ground-up restoration and presents today as a highly correct example of one of the most desirable configurations of the inaugural model year. Finished in correct Granada Gold with a Black Bumble Bee stripe and equipped with the Rally Sport Appearance Package, the car features RS hideaway headlamps, bright trim accents, a correct Black convertible top, and 15" Chevrolet Rally Sport wheels that complete its period-correct stance. Under the hood is a date-correct 350ci Chevrolet V8 accompanied with a matching partial VIN and fitted with desirable "double hump" cylinder heads, paired with a numbers-matching Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and Hurst shifter. Power is delivered through a 12-bolt rear axle, and the car is further equipped with power steering, power brakes with front discs, and a chambered exhaust system that underscores its small block character. Inside, the correct Deluxe Black Interior features bucket seats, a center console with factory-style 3-pack gauges, a tilt steering column, and a Delco AM/FM radio. As a restored, first-year SS convertible combining RS styling with a date-correct 350/4-speed drivetrain, this example represents a well-specified and highly collectible early Camaro.
