1987 Toyota Land Cruiser

Not only is the Land Cruiser the longest running series of Toyota models, it is also quite arguably the toughest 4-Wheel Drive utility vehicles to ever grace our presence. More than 11 Million units have been sold worldwide since its inception in 1951. You will literally see Land Cruisers both old and new in every corner of the world including many running around third world countries in areas that most people cant imagine. The mechanical reliability, the parts resources, value upon resale are just a few of the noteworthy items that make these one of the most sought after SUVs on the planet. Yes, they even have a cult like following for suburban soccer moms! This FJ60 that were manufactured from 1981 through 1992 depending on where you are at in the world would become a strong hold in the emerging Sport Utility Vehicle for the family. This particular killer unit is very dry considering us followers have seen a lot of rust in the many we have looked at. This vehicle was sold new in California and would remain there until 2010! It would come to Indiana for a summer vehicle and then to TX until 2017 when it came to be used as a summer Northern Michigan cottage car in 2017. with the exception of a half dollar sized surface rust bubble on the passenger rear quarter this thing is really in unbelievable condition. The A/C still blows cold, the interior is in great for the year condition with the exception of the dash being cracked. All lights and gauges work, newer aftermarket radio and the vehicle has been serviced as needed. recent suspension work has been completed and could use some proper tires if you ask me. It starts, runs, shifts through all gears great and stops as it should. I would not hesitate to drive this rig anywhere provided speed is not your priority.
