It features a 2.1-liter twin-turbocharged inline-4 diesel engine that delivers 200 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission and standard 4MATIC all-wheel drive. This setup provides strong low-end torque for towing (up to 6,600 lbs) and confident traction in poor weather, while still achieving an impressive EPA rating of 22 mpg city / 29 mpg highway.Despite its relatively small engine, the ML 250 offers respectable performance with smooth acceleration and quiet cruising manners. Inside, the SUV features a luxuriously appointed cabin with high-quality materials, power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a standard power liftgate. Cargo space is generous, with about 38 cubic feet behind the rear seats and nearly 80 cubic feet with the seats folded.
