I was 33 years old working in the private sector and after yet another bad car buying experience I was fed up! I wanted to start a different kind of car company built on Christian ethics and morals. Our faith guides us, but I tell people all of the time that we love Jesus and set out to honor Him, but that doesn't mean your car will last forever! Lol! What it means is that we are always going to be honest and transparent with you. I am a Veteran and a patriot and believe in old fashioned business practices. I wanted to set out to provide a high quality, used car without all of the dealer tricks and deception. What I found is that other people wanted that too! By being honest and transparent we built our small business into the largest independent dealership in the state. In late 2018 my wife and I sold our business in Indiana and moved to Florida with the dreams of doing the same model here while being closer to our family. We did it with the Lords wisdom and help! Our company is called Trade Guru because we specialize in new car trade-ins. If you don't know the difference between a new car trade-in and a normal car at the auction, it is a very important distinction. We look for cars that people trade in just because they want a new one not because there's something wrong with it. We don't buy from independent dealers who are trying to hide their sins and pawn their broken cars off onto other people. Florida is full of nice, low mileage, one owner cars and that's what we specialize in. We mostly buy from local, high-line, luxury car dealerships. These are the cars that people paid 40k to 90k for and have been taken care. That's what we want to give you as the second owner! We look for one to two owner vehicles with documented service histories and CarFax's. We allow you to take our cars to a mechanic to help you make a wise decision for you and your family. We price our cars using Kelly blue book and J.D. Power. If you look at CarGurus website, all of our cars are beyond fair deals, as they call them! We have our own experienced technicians, interior upholstery workers, body workers, as well as tire and brake workers to help service your cars needs. You name it and we can do it all. One of the best values I can offer my customers is a drastically discounted labor rate for the life of the car. That means that when you buy a car from me, if anything were to happen, whether it be brakes or even a motor, you will pay a fraction of the labor cost of any shop in town. In addition to this savings, we will not markup the price on any of the parts your car needs, market price only! That could save you thousands of dollars during the life of your car. Our service department is not a for-profit service department, it is to serve our customers and maintain our cars to keep you coming back and buying from us in the future. We go through our cars and make sure we're selling a good product, but at the end of the day these are machines and sometimes unforeseen things happen.
