Dealer's description

First class ride! The fit and finishes are highlighted by the colors and stance. Of course, it has everything to make it a comfortable cruiser too. EXTERIOR: This is the biggest reason I bought this car, the laser straight body! Really, I fell in love with the body, the panels fit precisely. I nerded out when the doors clicked shut just by letting go. The Patriot Red Pearl color is gorgeous and it has a wet, glossy finish. All the chrome, trim and weatherstrips have been replaced. All the glass was replaced too. It was just treated to a new a new set of Billet Specialties wheels and performance tires, 18s in front, 20s in back and extra wide. INTERIOR: A perfect complement to the exterior: a very classy light tan leather and Alcantara upholstery. The door panels are sculpted real nice and have speakers integrated in them. The bucket seats have great bolsters and recline. You will be looking at a dash painted as slick as the body. The heater controls are updated to electric slides, it has a retro stereo in the factory hole and the shift indicator is updated for the overdrive. A lower panel was fabricated for the a/c vents. A custom console was also fabricated which gives some storage space and holds the power window switches. The rear shelf is custom with 6x9 speakers. Down on the floor is custom carpet and mats. Above is an Alcantara headliner. It's beautiful and comfortable in here! ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has a GM crate Ram Jet 350 which was a special motor with a fuel injection that looked right out of the 60s with modern technology. It makes 351 hp, there no reliability like a GM crate motor! The front of it has a serpentine belt system with polished components. It has air conditioning, a modern power steering and power brakes. Out in front is a list of polished components that look great. It also has a trans cooler and a power steering color hidden behind the grill. The metal surfaces are painted slick finishing off this beautiful compartment! TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It has been completely boxed and custom upholstered to match the interior. Even under the trunk lid is upholstered in Alcantara. There is light stain in the carpet floor. UNDERSIDE: Body off frame restored in 2010. The frame is smooth and powder coated black. The steering and suspension were completely rebuilt, swaybars front and back were installed. The brake system was completely new and upgraded with disc at all four wheels, it has a custom e-brake. The fuel tank is polished like chrome. The exhaust has a crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Bottom of the motor is clean, has a high torque starter and chrome flywheel cover. The trans was upgraded with a TCI 700R-4 overdrive automatic with an aluminum pan. The rebuilt driveshaft leads back to a new 9 inch rear with back brace and posi gears. The floors under this car are so clean they are painted like the body. SERVICE: We inspected this car closely and installed working reverse lights, serviced the air conditioning, adjusted the shift indicator, tightened steering wheel, fixed turn signals, horns, and dash lights. We calibrated the speedometer, installed swaybar link and replaced the rear rotors. CONCLUSION: Yes, it is gorgeous, and you won't be able to handle the compliments. It was really meant to be driven. The motor, trans and rear were new for the maximum reliability. This was a meticulously built '57! Vehicles are displayed in a museum setting. Admission applies without an appointment and is refunded with purchase, including a one-year museum membership. 815 385 3644 9-5 central Sales@volocars.com Answered ASAP Ramjet injection Air conditioning Power steering Power brakes 4 wheel disc Posi rear Leather upholstery Power windows Bucket seats Console Stereo system
