This 1969 Buick Skylark custom convertible is a muscle car, with a big block 455 CID V8 under the hood and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. But it is also a luxury ride with power steering, power brakes, A/C, tilt steering, comfortable bucket seats, a power convertible top, and an AM/FM/CD player in the dash. It walks that line between the luxury you expect from a Buick, and the power you expect from the sister car to the famed Chevrolet Chevelle! That's right, this is basically a Chevelle in disguise! The GM A-Body was used for the Buick Skylark, Chevrolet Chevelle, Pontiac Tempest/LeMans/GTO, and Oldsmobile Cutlass. That's good company to be in with the Super Sports, 4-4-2, Hurst Olds, and Gran Sports. This Skylark wears the factor colors of Cameo Cream with a Buckskin convertible top and Buckskin interior. Cragar 5-spoke wheels have been added, which are always a nice upgrade. The steering wheel and radio have also been swapped for functionality and good looks. There is an upgraded intake, Edelbrock carburetor, and HEI distributor for a bit more power from the 455. With just over 68,000 actual documented miles, this is a rare find in a classic car!
