1963 Studebaker Avanti R-2, this survivor was sold new right here in West Chester, PA and remained with the original family for 58 years, always garaged, meticulously maintained, stored for several years, then sold to an avid Avanti collector who performed extensive service and upgrades to the highest standards, original White paint with only minor touch-ups, gleaming chrome and trim, immaculate original Red interior, powerful R2 supercharged 289 cu in 290 HP V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission, only 3,834 produced - just 643 built with R2 / 4-speed combination, power steering, power front disc brakes, AM radio, and seat belts. It has received full mechanical restoration including a valve job, all engine gaskets, all new brakes, wheel cylinders, calipers, and upgraded with a dual master cylinder, carburetor, fuel pump, electronic ignition, battery, water pump, radiator, belts, hoses, all fluids, stainless steel dual exhaust, Halibrand alloy wheels, Cooper radial tires, and much more.
