Dealer's description
Check out this stunning 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Resto-Mod that is in stock and available for immediate delivery! This amazing piece of American Muscle Car history was meticulously built to modern-day standards and reflects the builders' attention to detail, sparing no expense in the restoration and building of this incredible automobile. You have to experience this vehicle in person to truly understand the time and expense dedicated to the undertaking of this stunning automobile's creation. As is the case with many builds and restorations, the money and time spent building and restoring these vehicles does not calculate when it comes time to offer such vehicles for sale. As is the case with this Corvette's painstaking build, the vehicle is offered, for the first time to the public in many years, at a fraction of the cost of recreating this spectacular automobile. Documentation provides insight dating back to the gentleman who purchased this Corvette used in 1972. Today, that gentleman, by the name of Edward C. Grant of Ansonia, Connecticut would have been 104 years old. The Corvette was later purchased by Paul Baillargeon of Burlington, Connecticut in September of 1990. Paul Baillargeon was the gentleman who started the painstaking restoration and build on this Holy Grail of Corvettes that lasted several decades. Every nut and bolt that was purchased is documented in the binder that will accompany this Corvette. As time moved on, the amazing restoration and build being completed, the Corvette was purchased by Paul Cabral of Bristol, Rhode Island. Titles were not printed in Rhode Island when Paul Cabral purchased the Corvette. Paul Cabral spent years fine tuning this Corvette and again, sparing no expense, Paul upgraded the Corvette with many modern features. Paul later moved to Seekonk, Massachusetts where he built a home and a garage for some of his Collector Vehicles. As times moved on, the garage became too small for his Collection and when Paul purchased his new 2025 Corvette E-Ray from the local Chevrolet Dealership, the opportunity presented itself for a new owner of this amazing vehicle. A short list of restoration and build notables on this stunning automobile are: STREET SHOP CHASSIS, POWDER COATED, QA1 COILOVERS & BAER CERAMIC BRAKES, KEISLER ENGINEERING TKO600 TREMEC 5-SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, 502 CI GM CRATE MOTOR, HOLLEY SNIPER FUEL INJECTION, DEWITTS RADIATOR, AUTO METER GUAGES, BOYD 'JUNKYARD DOG' 17X8 RIMS W/5.5 BACKSPACING, BRIDGESTONE POTENZA POLE POSITION 245/45R17 TIRES, HYDRATECH BRAKE BOOSTER, CLOCK RESTORED BY CORVETTE INSTRUMENT SERVICE TO MIMIC AUTO METER GUAGES, SCAT ENTERPRISES RALLY RECLINER SEATS, BODY PREPPED & PAINTED BY CORVETTE CENTER IN NEWINGTON, CT, BUMPERS, HARDWARE, HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLIES, ACTUATOR MOTORS PURCHASED NEW, MARCH PERFORMANCE SERPENTINE CONVERSION, KEE AUTOMOTIVE TOP MFG.
